With a learning environment that focuses on each individual student, Mercer University has educated leaders in the state of Georgia and throughout the Southeast, nation and world for more than 176 years. Beyond the academic rigors of Mercer’s programs in 11 colleges and schools, Mercer offers unique service learning opportunities that engage students in their communities and foster responsibility, compassion and character.
But, tuition only covers a portion of what it costs to educate our more than 8,000 students. You can help further enrich the Mercer experience for your student by giving to the Parents Fund. The Parents Fund helps the University stay up-to-date by providing wireless Internet throughout campus, supplementing tutors in the Academic Resource Center, and securing additional copies of high-demand books and online journals in the library.
Last year, during our Parents Fund campaign, 440 parents generously gave almost $15,000. This year our goal is to have 1,000 parents contributing to the Parents Fund before the end of our fiscal year, June 30. Each and every gift, regardless of size, matters and helps ensure that your student, along with other current Mercer students, continues to receive the high-quality education that has become synonymous with the name Mercer University.
